How to Use Facebook for Business
Invite Friends
One way to get people to your Facebook page and like it is by using the Suggest to Friends option.
Remember, a personal and business Facebook page are two completely different things, but that does not mean one can’t help the other.
If you're creating a new business page -- invite some of your friends to like your page!
However, use caution when doing this. Don’t send a message to everyone on your friends list. Doing so might get you labeled as an annoying Facebook friend!
Instead, choose only those people who you think would benefit from your page and the information you’ll be sharing on that page.
For example, if you have a health and wellness page -- only invite those friends who are specifically interested in a more healthy lifestyle.
Choose people who would benefit from getting your daily tips and encouragement about health and wellness.
Chances are -- not everyone on your friends list will fall into that category. Choose wisely!
